BiographyGood Manners have been treading the boards of the UK for over 15 years. One of a handful of bands that not only play the songs that redefined music as we know it, but whose members were there, doing it, when it all happened.
Performing up to two hours, sometimes more, of those long forgotten classics from such bands as Kraftwerk, The Jam, Depeche Mode, The Specials, The Who, Soft Cell, The Clash and so many more.
Fronted by the eponymous FATMAN, ex superstar DJ of the period, who brings the energy of the era back to life, and whose banter with the audience can often lead to an improvised duet or audience participation session. Together, he and his highly experienced and talented fellow band members, create the sound, attitude, excitement of the UK independant music scene of the mid seventies to mid eighties.
Together they have played venues large and small around the country, have appeared at festivals and have supported some of the largest selling artists of the period on their solo tours.
Good Manners have gained a reputation for making the music they play their own, from subtle re arrangements to complete overhauls of style and speed, showcasing the versatility of some of the best written songs of all time, with new material being added regularly.
Sets can be shaped to your requirements. 4 x 30 min, 1 x 1hr, 2 x 45min, the options are almost endless, and with the added bonus of our digital DJ between sets if required
For Good Manners, it's all about the music, the fun and the memories. Whether a large corporate event, a wedding, a birthday party or something more intimate, just bring your dancing shoes and party like it's 1977.
